UCL Accelerate is an exciting maths tutoring programme for Year 10 students developed by UCL’s Widening Participation team.
UCL Accelerate is an in-school tutoring programme that pairs trained UCL tutors with small groups of Year 10 students to support their maths skills and confidence using bespoke resources developed by Maths Education Innovation.
Across 12 weeks, students will cover four key maths topics selected by their school, as well as take part in a Launch event and a Celebration event at UCL’s campus. On completing the programme, students become UCL Accelerate Graduates, gaining access to online sessions that provide guidance on A-level choices, study skills, university applications, and personal statements.
The programme currently works with five selected partner schools across London and is not open for wider applications at this time.
