Do Something Different Day is for Year 12 students looking to experience new subjects areas through taster sessions led by UCL academics.
Are you in Year 12 and unsure what degree to study at university? Fancy trying out a new subject you’ve not done at school? If that sounds like you, then UCL’s Do Something Different Day is the perfect chance for you to explore your options.
Over the course of this day long in-person event, you will get the opportunity to sample three subject taster sessions led by some of UCL’s world-leading academics. Wherever your interests lie, whether in the humanities, sciences, or a combination of both, we have taster sessions to suit your interests.
This year we are offering taster sessions in the following subjects and degree programmes:
- Arts and Sciences
- Linguistics
- Nordic Studies
- Built Environments, Energy, and Resources
- Social Sciences
- Languages and East European Studies
- Archaeology
- Urban Planning and Studies
There will also be additional information sessions and a tour of the campus guided by current UCL undergraduates.
Dates and Times
- Thursday 3rd July: 9:30am- 3:30pm (in-person).
