Department Taster Days are in-person, subject-specific taster days running in June for Year 12 students to get a taste of university level study.

Department Taster Days are in-person, subject-specific taster days running in June for Year 12 students to get guidance and information on living and studying at UCL, and to get a taste of university level study in your chosen subject. Through in-person taster sessions with UCL academic staff members you will gain insight into the experience of studying at UCL. You will also have the opportunity to meet current UCL students and find out what it’s like to study at a London university, as well as to get advice on the university application process.

Full details of the timetable for each day are to be confirmed, but the general outline of each day is as follows:

9:30 am to 12 pm – Welcome to UCL, information sessions, campus tour
12 to 1 pm – Lunch (provided by us)
1 to 4 pm – Subject-specific academic taster session
