What is British?
A photographic exploration of identities around the Rotherhithe Tunnel by Michael Wayne Plant (MA Photography & Urban Cultures, Goldsmiths)
Wednesday 15 April - Friday 8 May 2009
Since April 2008 social documentographer/art photographer Michael Wayne Plant has been engaged in a project that examines identities encountered within a one-mile radius of the Rotherhithe Tunnel. Photographing people encountered on the streets, against the backdrop of the social landscape that we all inhabit, he creates a thought-provoking portrait of British identities found within London.
