Researcher, Making Africa Urban

Lisa Njanji is a human geographer at the University of Malawi. She is currently pursuing her research studies leading to a Master of Science in Geography by research. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Geography. Her research interests are in the areas of urban geography, urban planning, and geographies of development. She brings to the project five years of experience in diverse areas including teaching, research and community outreach, having worked as research assistant and social community intern at the Ministry of Gender and Community services in Malawi.
Role in the Making Africa Urban research project
Lisa supports the project as a researcher together with lead collaborator Dr Evance Mwathunga.
