Application of the 3Rs plays an essential role in achieving scientific excellence. At UK DRI we support our researchers in the development and use of tools and models that can improve animal welfare.
This workshop will address some key topics around animal welfare, humane endpoints, and management of genetically modified lines with severe phenotypes.
This workshop is open to ALL researchers from UK DRI host universities.
Please register via Zoom if you would like to attend.
Dr Esther Pearl of the NC3Rs will give a live demonstration of the Experimental Design Assistant (EDA) on Thursday 27 January at 4pm. The EDA is online software that helps researchers design more rigorous in vivo experiments. The demonstration will be relevant to anyone involved in planning and designing experiments or teaching experimental design. More info here.
