A chance to raise your concerns with how UCL is governed

14 October 2019

Commission of Inquiry Town Hall meeting will be held on Wednesday 16 October 2-4pm in the Cruciform Building B304 Lecture Theatre 1

The Commission of Inquiry of the Academic Board of UCL is investigating problems with the way that UCL is governed.

The Commission is particularly interested in staff views about how the University is run and decisions are made.

This is a unique opportunity to raise your concerns about:

  • Representation of staff views
  • Whether senior management is accountable to the academic community,
  • The way “consultations” are carried
  • If UCL keeps to its rules and polices
  • Whether staff get to have an input into decision-making or long-term strategies pursued by UCL and how these affect us
  • Any other issues with the running of UCL and its structures

Any feedback will go into a report and/or recommendations from the Commission of Inquiry on the running of UCL.

This Town Hall meeting will be held on Wednesday 16 October 2-4pm in the Cruciform Building B304 Lecture Theatre 1

We strongly advise all our members to attend and have your voice heard!  No advance booking is required to attend.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can email comments to Sandra Hinton (s.hinton@ucl.ac.uk). Confidential submissions can be made to the Chair of the Commission, Stephanie Bird (stephanie.bird@ucl.ac.uk).
