Marshgate shortlisted for 2025 Concrete Society Awards
10 July 2025
UCL East's flagship Marshgate campus building has been recognised for its exceptional design, engineering and construction with a nomination for the 2025 Concrete Society Awards.
These significant industry awards recognise the sheer flexibility and variety of applications for concrete in a range of outstanding projects. This year nominations include buildings, tunnels, deep water terminals and flood schemes.

Marshgate, which opened to staff and students in September 2023, was designed by architects Stanton Williams and constructed by Mace.
In 2024 it was awarded Building Magazine’s Project of the Year for its excellent use of materials, sustainability focus, and completion on time and within budget.
Winners of this year's Concrete Society Awards will be announced at a special ceremony in London on 12 November 2025.
