Stomp and Stamp: interactive family trail puts our UCL East campus on the map
15 February 2025
The Discover Children's Story Centre in Newham has worked with UCL and our East Bank partners on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to launch a special interactive trail for 2-8-year-olds, encouraging families to explore new places on the Park together.

Children can follow a special trail map, collecting stamps at different locations around the Park while solving fun questions along the way.
With plenty of cafés and food kiosks along the route, families can take a break and enjoy a relaxed day out at their own pace. Participants can follow the trail all in one go or come back to it on different days.
Would-be stompers and stampers can collect a free paper trail map from the Information Point at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (open daily, 11am - 4pm) or the Discover Children’s Story Centre on Stratford High Street (open daily, 10am - 5pm).
Our UCL East campus is open to the public to enjoy, with a programme of free exhibitions, events and activities for all.
We are proud to be taking part in this exciting activity, offering families a chance to discover our public spaces, including striking artworks like Luke Jerram’s Gaia globe artwork, a breathtaking, rotating model of Earth that can be seen from the ground floor atrium of our Marshgate building.
Visitors can also visit one of our cafés. In our Marshgate café you can even have your food and drink delivered to your table by a robot!

"We’re really happy to be involved in this activity for local families with young children, and it’s a pleasure to see people out exploring the new places on the Park. Most people don’t realise UCL is open to the public, and we have some fantastic art and exhibitions to explore."
Don’t miss out stompers and stampers - start your adventure from 15 February!
