OPPORTUNITY: Mace Student Design Competition

The competition invites all students aged 13 to 16 years old to design a community centre by hand or using Google SketchUp software, which is free for students to download. 

Mace is an international consultancy and construction firm, passionate about highlighting the wealth of career opportunities in the built environment. This competition is part of its campaign to provide meaningful skills development opportunities for young people.

The closing date for entries to the competition is 22nd April 2022. The judging panel will be made up of senior members of Mace, including the CEO for Consultancy and the MD for International.  

Judging criteria will include design skills, creativity, and understanding of the brief. There will be several categories and prizes including opportunities to receive career mentoring from professional designers and shopping vouchers.
