East London organisations to lead workshops with staff

31 January 2022

Develop your skills and understanding of working with communities in these workshops led by east London based organisations.

Output Arts Star

As part of a series of workshops funded by the EPSRC (Engineering and Physical Science Research Council) we are hosting two east London organisations to deliver workshops for those interested in developing their skills in working with communities.

Output Arts, a Hackney based artist collective is leading two workshops around developing creative engagement practice, sharing their processes of creativity and supporting you to apply these to your area of work.

TELCO, the east London branch of Citizens UK, will be running sessions on the skills needed for community organising and community leadership to help you understand community priorities and create action for change with communities.

Developing Your Creative Engagement Practice - 3rd and 17th March

In this two-part workshop you’ll learn skills and techniques to help you design and deliver creative engagement activities for working with communities outside UCL.

Jonathan Hogg and Andy D'Cruz from Output Arts will guide you through their own methodology of building creative engagement with groups, and support you to explore how you can apply this in your own engagement design.

Output Arts is an art collective founded in 2009. They make site-specific, interactive and participatory audio-visual artworks and experiences.

We recommend you attend both workshops.
