Virtual tour of the Grant Museum: UCL Creating Aspirations project

Part of the UCL East schools programme managed by Emma Bryant at UCL Culture, the UCL Creating Aspirations project had to adapt to the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown: the pupils therefore arranged a virtual Grant Museum Takeover instead of the physical one that was originally planned for April 2020. 

After visiting the museum before lockdown, and studying some of its most fascinating specimens, the Year 5 students decided to write a - virtual - trail with 13 objects, including the pangolin, the bull shark and the Japanese spider crab. They made their own labels for them, and even wrote some of these in the different languages that they speak.
