Join east London residents, local organisations, and researchers to explore how the environment affects our health and how to strengthen inclusion in related research. Our informal and creative session will be led by artist and creative facilitator Briony Cambell, who is expert in delivering projects which bring together from different backgrounds and in finding shared ground.
We’ll explore:
- Whose voices are currently present in environment, climate change, and health research — and whose are missing.
- How different people perceive environmental and health issues, and why they engage in conversations differently.
- Solutions for making climate and health research more inclusive.
This is the second in our three-event series of workshops making up the Canvas project. Canvas is a creative project connecting east London residents, community organisations, and researchers. Together, we share experiences of health and the environment, and work to strengthen the voices of local people in research. Canvas is a collaboration between the Wellcome Trust funded project PAICE, UCL East, Institute for Global Health and the Evaluation Exchange, working with community groups, researchers and artists.
You do not need to have attended the first session to attend this session. All are welcome.
