Join us in this creative workshop exploring health.
Our health and the healthcare we receive affects us all. Too often people are dissatisfied with the state of the healthcare system, whether that be someone receiving care or someone in a caring role.
In this creative workshop we will consider how we can restore the role of relationship in healthcare, using metaphors related to island living and sailing to rethink risk, safety and choice.
You will learn cyanotype printing: a photographic process that uses UV light and iron salts to create deep blue images on coated paper or fabric; and collaborative map making.
The workshop will be led by UCL researcher Sarah Yardley and local east London artist Laura Copsey. Everyone is welcome, including carers, people with lived experience and healthcare professionals.
