TRO at Advanced Therapies Congress 2023

The two-day Advanced Therapies Congress concluded on 15 March 2023, joined by a record-breaking number of 1,600+ attendees from across the ATMP space to exchange ideas on cell and gene therapy. The UCL Translational Research Office (TRO) was glad to be part of the event by hosting an exhibition booth to introduce the delegates to the extensive translational biomedical network of UCL and its partner hospitals with the aim of fostering connections with the wider ATMP community.

UCL academics are world leaders in developing cell, gene and regenerative therapies whose research has been underpinned by over 30 years of public/privately funded research. This has enabled a research community of over 200 world-class scientists at UCL to work to deliver on the promise of what is only now being recognised as the third pillar of pharmaceutical therapeutics.

At TRO, our mission is to support and nurture key partnerships in the ecosystem to advance the biomedical therapy pipeline and deliver biomedical impact. We look forward to continuing the conversations with the ATMP community and thank everyone for connecting with us at the event, paving the way to potential collaborations.
