Sessions will explore these tough questions in an era where the gaps between science in the developed world and needs in the developing world have widened, and funders have to make tough decisions about what to fund and how it makes a difference. Research and innovation shapes societies of the future – and we need to ensure that that future includes us!
We will be selecting speakers that can bring a regional perspective to this topic, as well as inviting a number of International speakers from beyond the region to bring a global perspective. The programme will comprise several sessions with different formats that are designed to stimulate and promote engagement and discussion.
A trade exhibition will be held alongside the conference, more information is available on the website to become an Exhibitor or Sponsor
Various workshops will be held on 3 September, please refer to the Workshops tab for further information, now available-
To maximise networking opportunities we encourage delegates to attend the Welcome cocktail event on 4 September, as well as the Gala & Awards dinner on 5 September. The committee will also host an informal post conference networking lunch at Spier Wine Estate on the last day of conference, 6 September, numbers will be limited for this particular event, and pre-booking for all social events is essential
