UCL Therapeutic Innovation Networks welcome new Chair and Co-Chair for Devices and Diagnostics TIN
30 August 2024
Ahead of the new academic year, UCL Therapeutic Innovation Networks (TINs) announces changes to the leadership roles for the Devices and Diagnostics TIN.
We are pleased to announce that Professor Mine Orlu (UCL School of Pharmacy) has now taken on the role of Chair, and Dr. Weng Wong (UCL Business) as Co-Chair of the UCL Therapeutic Innovation Networks (TINs) - Devices and Diagnostics. Both have been key members of the TINs, with Mine previously serving as Co-Chair and Weng as a committee member. They will leverage their expertise in this therapeutic modality to foster collaborations within the network for greater impact.
We are deeply grateful to Professor Geoff Parker (UCL Institute of Healthcare Engineering) for his invaluable contribution as the previous Chair of the Devices and Diagnostics TIN, over the past few years. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping the strategy for this TIN and in promoting greater participation from UCL’s biomedical community in health-related research within this therapeutic area.
We are also pleased that Professor Geoff Parker will continue to serve as a committee member of the Devices and Diagnostics TIN, supporting the long-term growth of this community.
Please join us in welcoming Professor Mine Orlu and Dr. Weng Wong to their new roles.
