Jon Chandler is Associate Professor (Teaching) in History and Student Success Lead for the Faculty of Social and Historical Sciences (SHS) at UCL. In his faculty role, he leads initiatives to enhance belonging, transition, and academic success, with a particular focus on Access UCL students and other underrepresented groups. He has developed peer mentoring, pre-induction, and re-induction programmes that combine student voice, evidence-led practice, and collaborative design. His wider work in teaching and educational leadership is driven by a commitment to inclusive education and supporting all students to thrive.He has been a Student Success Lead since September 2024.

- The workshop will provide a co-created timetable for the peer mentoring scheme and co-created mentoring resources.
- This workshop will involve mentors in the planning of the scheme, helping develop a community of practice among peer mentors.
