About Evaluation

The UCL Access and Participation Plan, sets out the risks to equality of opportunity at UCL, the strategies that we will employ to address these risks, and how we will evaluate the impact of our interventions.

Our approach to evaluation includes:

• Tracking staff and student attendance at our activities to monitor the level of engagement we have on our programmes
• Collecting feedback from staff and students who engage with our activities to understand how useful they found them and the extent to which they resulted in the desired outcomes
• Conducting statistical analysis to examine the impact of our interventions on reducing awarding and retention gaps across UCL
