Annual Programme Survey now open for final-year undergraduate students
1 May 2026
The Annual Programme Survey (APS) for final-year undergraduate students launched on 1 May and will remain open until 1 June.
What is the APS?
This APS is a short annual survey that takes just five minutes to complete. It gives students the opportunity to share feedback on their modules, as well as dissertation and placement (if applicable).
The APS questions for this cohort complement those in the National Student Survey (NSS) by covering areas not addressed in the NSS. Together, they provide colleagues with a full picture of the finalists’ experience.
Why is the APS important?
This is their chance to reflect on their experience—to tell us what worked well and what could be improved. While they may be nearing the end of their studies and may not directly benefit from the changes made, their feedback will help shape and improve the experience for future students, just as previous students’ feedback has helped to shape theirs.
Prize draw
Once they complete the survey, students will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win:
- 1 × £1,000
- 3 × £250
- 10 × £25
How you can help
Please encourage your finalists to complete the survey by:
- reminding students about the survey during lectures, seminars, or via Moodle
- promoting the APS through departmental social media channels
- highlighting the student prize draw.
There are various promotional materials available from our Templates and guides SharePoint site, including an email signature banner, web banner and digital screen images.
Weekly response rate updates will be shared at faculty, department and programme level so you can track the progress.
If you have any questions, please contact the Student Surveys team: student.engagement@ucl.ac.uk
Many thanks for your support in promoting the Annual Programme Survey.
