Launch of PEP2B and Curriculum Blueprint Platform
30 April 2025
We are delighted to announce the launch of Part B of the Curriculum Review (PEP2B). Programme Leaders should now review their courses using the Curriculum Design Principles as a framework. A Curriculum Blueprint and Self-Evaluation Questionnaire must be completed for each course.

Following the launch of Part B of the Curriculum Review (PEP2B), Programme Leaders should now review their courses using the Curriculum Design Principles as a framework. All Programme Leaders are required to confirm and/or produce revised Curriculum Blueprints and complete a Self-Evaluation Questionnaire (SEQ) for each course.
Data submitted via the Blueprints will be migrated into UCL’s new Curriculum Information Management system, CourseLoop. CourseLoop will be used to manage UCL curriculum data and processes for courses from 2027-28 onwards.

Curriculum Blueprint and Self-Evaluation Questionnaire platform
A web-based platform has been developed to support the PEP2B process. Programme Leaders can now locate and update their course’s Curriculum Blueprint via an application, which can be accessed from the PEP SharePoint - Completing your Course Review. Frequently asked questions (FAQs) and a Blueprint User Guide provide detailed support information, which has been updated with usability improvements to the platform released this week.

Next steps
Over coming weeks, further developments to the Curriculum Blueprint and SEQ platform will be communicated. This will include export functionality to produce Curriculum Blueprint and SEQ reports for use in panel review meetings and a tracking dashboard to allow faculty and department leaders to monitor progress with Blueprint submissions.
