UCL Teaching and Learning Conference 2016

What does a vibrant and committed community of learners and teachers look like in a research-intensive environment?

All UCL staff and students were invited to the UCL Institute of Education on 19 April to celebrate and continue to mull over the challenge of transforming lives that is teaching and learning.

This year the conference included the presentation of the Provost's Teaching Awards and Student Choice Teaching Awards.

The theme was ChangeMaking to highlight UCL ChangeMakers, launched at last year's conference.

It was also a more general invitation to all staff and students at UCL to showcase and enter a dialogue about all aspects of learning and teaching: interesting practice, meeting challenges, creating new resources and workflows, rethinking assessment and feedback – and continuing to reflect on the kinds of transformations that go on, or might go on, in education at UCL.
