Arena Centre events include accredited professional development for staff who teach or support teaching, workshops and seminars to share best practice, and celebrations of UCL education through conferences and awards.

 

Please be aware that due to industrial action, some events may be cancelled without prior warning.  We are very sorry for any disruption caused.

All training offered through UCL Arena Centre is free and no cancellation fees are charged.

Online and bespoke events is a collection of further events that are either bespoke or accessible online all year round and could support you in developing your educational practice, but can't be listed in our calendar. Propose an event here. 

Gain recognition for your role in education at UCL. There are pathways for teaching staff, researchers, postgraduate teaching assistants and professional services staff:

Professional development events include:

  • Training by a member of the Arena Centre for Research-based Education, or another relevant department such as Careers or Student Support and Wellbeing, usually in a workshop format.
  • Sharing experiences and good practice: members of staff from UCL and beyond run sessions to share their work.

Have you made an innovation in your teaching that you'd like to share? Run a project with your students to enhance their education? Introduced a different type of assessment or improved academic support?

Share your experience and best practice with your colleagues by leading an Arena event.
