This session will cover the essential skills needed to teach effectively with Teams.
There will be an opportunity to book a 121 session after the session.
Course content
- Assigning roles, lobby settings, and chat settings.
- Screen sharing methods, considering accessibility and presentation context.
- Breakout rooms in Microsoft Teams, including assigning participants, broadcasting messages, and adjusting room settings.
- Interactive tools such as Forms, Polls, and Reactions to support session goals and participant engagement.
- Interpreting the attendance report to support tracking and reporting needs. Locating meeting recordings and sharing appropriately.
Learning objectives
At the end of this course you will be able to:
- Explain how assigned roles, lobby settings, and chat settings affect people’s ability to join, contribute, and perform tasks.
- Explore screen sharing methods, considering accessibility and presentation context.
- Explain how breakout rooms are created and managed in Microsoft Teams, including assigning participants, broadcasting messages, and adjusting room settings.
- Use interactive tools such as Forms, Polls, and Reactions to support session goals and participant engagement.
- Interpret the attendance report to support tracking and reporting needs.
- Locate meeting recordings and share appropriately.
