Using the MediaPod to make professional quality videos (campus-based)

The MediaPod is a device located on campus which lets users make professional quality videos without specialist skills or technical assistance. 

This is an induction session which will allow participants to book and use the MediaPod upon completion. 

Course description

This session will cover:

• How to set up and make a basic recording with the MediaPod
• An overview of the MediaPod’s additional features
• A comparison between the MediaPod and other recording methods
• A task in which participants produce a sample recording

By the end of the course you will be able to:

• Produce a basic MediaPod recording without assistance
• Demonstrate awareness of the MediaPod’s additional features
• Discuss potential uses and benefits of the MediaPod
• Understand the MediaPod booking and usage policy
