This workshop aims to support the facilitation of a Student Partnership Committees (SPC). The workshop offers ideas and guidance on committee structure and ethos to support anyone chairing or leading these committees. The session will look at ways to make the committee a productive space, investigating why students may be reluctant to participate, what it means to be a chair of these committees, and what makes effective partnership in an SPC.

Aims of the workshop
- Provide staff with key information about creating inclusive SPC spaces.
- Offer staff the chance to share good practice from their own experiences.
Intended learning outcomes
- Discuss why a SPC is more collaborative than the previous committee structure.
- Analyse student involvement in the process and assess methods to improve it.
- Develop strategies that will include the student voice and foster meaningful partnerships that have actionable outputs.
Who should attend
Education leaders;Chairs or co-chairs of the committees (or those who might be taking over that role).
