a student sits on a bench in UCL Quad working on a laptop and smiling.

Please note: we run several different training sessions on generative AI. Some sessions build on information from others, while other sessions are designed for particular staff groups rather than a general audience. We have suggested pathways and topics to help choose the right session for you. A GenAI Training SharePoint (link below) is available to help support your development with GenAI.

This event is free.

GenAI Training SharePoint

There’s a lot of talk about helping our students develop GenAI
literacy. We’ll go through what this actually means, and look at how to address and scaffold key GenAI skills through curricula, personal tutoring and student workshops.

This webinar aims to:
- Explore the concept of GenAI literacy, and how the concept varies across different disciplines and subjects.
- Help apply principles around responsible use of GenAI to teaching and learning contexts.
- Provide ideas for engaging colleagues and students to collaborate on identifying and developing relevant GenAI skills.

After attending this session, you’ll be able to:
Articulate what GenAI literacy means to you and your discipline.
Start developing responsible and inclusive approaches for using GenAI in teaching and learning.
