Please note: we run several different training sessions on generative AI. Some sessions build on information from others, while other sessions are designed for particular staff groups rather than a general audience. We have suggested pathways and topics to help choose the right session for you. A GenAI Training SharePoint (link below) is available to help support your development with GenAI.

GenAI Training SharePoint

This session goes through UCL’s policy and guidance around GenAI, providing brief overviews and showing you where you can find further information. We’ll also highlight support, training and resources available to you, explaining how to access and use them.

A recording of the session is available to view on the GenAI Training SharePoint, but we encourage you to attend a live session – there’ll be time put aside for questions.

This webinar aims to:

- Familiarise you with UCL's resources, guidelines and policies around GenAI - both for students and for staff.

- Offer high level dos and don'ts to help you use (or avoid) GenAI confidently within your role.

- Provide plenty of time for questions, clarifications and discussions from this and the other two GenAI Fundamentals webinars in the series.

After attending this session, you’ll be able to:

Accurately interpret UCL’s guidance around GenAI use and its applications in your professional role.

Locate and leverage support already available for both professional services and academic staff.
