The workshop, offered by UCL Arena, is designed to equip educators with practical techniques and innovative approaches to actively involve students in the learning process. Through hands-on activities and discussions participants will explore proven methods to enhance classroom dynamics, increase student motivation, and foster a supportive and interactive learning environment. By the end of the workshop, educators will be empowered with the skills to create a more engaging and interactive classroom environment.

In this workshop we will:
- explore various proven methods and strategies to foster active student participation
- share practical approaches that can be easily integrated into teaching (e.g., lectures, seminars, etc.)
- discuss the benefits of active learning and how it can be used to enhance student engagement
By the end of this session, particpants will be able to
- develop strategies to create a more interactive and dynamic classroom environment
- integrate active learning activities into their teaching practice
- identify key motivators that drive student engagement
- facilitate activities that promote student participation and collaboration
