This workshop will focus on the benefits and potential challenges of using rubrics in assessment within your subject area and provide practical guidance on:
Designing a rubric aligned to learning outcomes of bringing together criteria, grades & feedback into a single scoring matrix.
Using templates and/or AI to create a draft rubrics
Creating online rubrics (Wiseflow and Moodle)
Evaluating the effectiveness of rubrics
There will be opportunities for discussion and questions.
After attending this session you will:
Design and construct an appropriate rubric for your assessments.
Evaluate the benefits and challenges of using rubrics.
Understand how to create online rubrics (e.g. on Wiseflow/Moodle).
