Join us in exploring how far UCL has come in addressing the disparities in outcome and experience of undergraduate Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) and white students at UCL. We will highlight key achievements, learnings and look to future at how UCL will close other awarding gaps.

Join us in exploring how far UCL has come in addressing the disparities in outcome and experience of undergraduate Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) and white students at UCL. We will highlight key achievements, learnings and look to the future at how UCL will close other awarding gaps.

The event will include an opening speech by Professor Kathleen Armour (UCL’s Vice-Provost Education & Student Experience), a keynote speech by Sofia Akel, cultural historian and producer, researcher, Black British studies lecturer and founder of the non-profit, Free Books Campaign and presentations from staff tackling the awarding gap.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
