The session will provide an overview of Arena’s provision and support for PGTAs and will offer an opportunity to ask questions about courses and sessions available throughout the academic year. We will discuss how PGTAs can benefit from engaging with Arena, including opportunities to develop PGTAs' teaching and assessment practice and to gain recognition through the HEA fellowship scheme. We will be joined by colleagues who will share examples of good practice from different faculties across UCL. The session is recommended for all faculty staff working with PGTAs.
This workshop will:
- Provide an overview of the training and support centrally available in Arena for PGTAs
- Present examples of good practice in relation to PGTA work from different faculties
- Give you an opportunity to ask questions about how to best support PGTAs in their role from a pedagogical perspective
After attending this session you will:
- Have a clear understanding of the PGTA provision offered by Arena
