UCL Arena are delivering this session, which is open to all new and existing research supervisors. The session is designed to help supervisors explore some common challenges in co-supervision, both from a student and supervisor perspective, and discuss possible solutions. It will give supervisors a chance to discuss ideas with peers, as well as hearing about recommendations from the literature and how these might be put into practice in their context.
The session will help supervisors:
- consider the importance of clear and open communication for effective co-supervision
- identify ways to work with co-supervisors for the benefit of doctoral student education and experience
- discuss with peers from across the institution about good practice in supervision.
Who should attend:
New and existing research supervisors will find this session useful.
