UCL Arena Centre are delivering this session, which is open to all UCL professional and technical services staff who regularly interact with students alongside successful local models, schemes & approaches for personal tutoring.

Student support continues to be vital this year for facilitating student progress, development, belonging & retention.

In this session we will:

  • reflect on boundaries, expectations & referrals;
  • consider how to have conversations with students;
  • explore approaches in the remote environment;
  • discuss some challenging scenarios;
  • review further sources of support for students & staff;

This session is part of a series offered by Student Support and Wellbeing (SSW) including:

  • Supporting students during times of change and uncertainty
  • Supporting students’ mental health and wellbeing
  • Implementing SORA in an online context
