During the seminar Dr Ilias Krystallis, from The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, will share his experience on effective engagement and monitoring of students’ progress by using f2f and online methods tools such as Teams, SharePoint, live documents, and fortnight group meetings. 
This is hands-on seminar will help early career educators be on top of the dissertation process and ensure their students' dissertation is of the highest standard.

The session will cover:

  • Common struggles with managing various dissertation projects simultaneously.
  • Initiating the dissertation journey. Communicating to your students the dissertation process from the outset, letting them know what to expect and what is expected from them.
  • Tools and methods for effective dissertation supervision. Setting the skeleton of the dissertation.
  • Panic management, providing effective feedback, increasing student confidence.
