UCL Arena, UCL Culture and the Engineering Exchange are delivering this session, which is open to all UCL staff involved in engineering programmes who are interested to embed community engaged learning opportunities into their teaching.

The Engineering Exchange (EngEx) is a network of engineers, built environment specialists and Londoners who are committed to making UCL expertise available to communities, while helping staff and students align their work with local needs.

This workshop will:

  • showcase examples and reflections of working with community partners in engineering curricula
  • present the Community Engaged Learning Service (CELS) available at UCL
  • signpost you to resources, opportunities and further support

After attending this session you will 

  • be aware of examples of community engaged learning in engineering curricula
  • be aware of resources, opportunities and support to embed community engaged learning into your teaching
