Led by UCL Arena and UCL Culture, this session will explore how to enhance the student experience by embedding community engaged learning into your programme or module, with a focus on school engagement.
Open to all UCL staff who are interested to develop learning opportunities with external partners for their programmes or modules and are particularly interested to collaborate with schools.
This session will:
- showcase the benefits of embedding community engaged learning and volunteering opportunities into your programme or module
- share good practice of community engaged learning and engagement with schools
- signpost you to resources and further support.
After attending this session you will
- be able to reflect on how your programme or module could look like by embedding community engaged learning with schools into your teaching
- be confident to experiment with different approaches of community engaged learning and volunteering
- know how to use the support and the resources offered.
