UCL has acquired a new technology called Blackboard Ally to help improve the accessibility of content within Moodle, in line with UK legislation.
Ally runs within Moodle to automatically provide alternative file formats for students and accessibility guidance for staff.
In this session, run by Digital Education, you will find out:
- what Blackboard Ally is
- what it does and doesn’t do
- the functionalities available to staff and studentsw
- what is different for staff and students.
After attending this session you will
- Understand what Blackboard Ally does and doesn’t do
- Be able to interpret Ally’s document ratings
- Access and act on Ally’s accessibility feedback
- Know how to improve your documents.
