Led by UCL Arena, UCL Volunteering and UCL Culture, this session will explore how to enhance the student experience by embedding community engaged learning into your programme or module, with a focus on postgraduate dissertations.
Open to all UCL staff who are interested to develop learning opportunities with external partners for their programmes or modules and are particularly interested to develop postgraduate dissertations with not-for-profit organisations.
This session will:
- showcase the benefits of embedding community engaged learning opportunities into your programme or module with a focus on community dissertations
- share good practice of community engaged learning with a focus on community dissertations
- signpost you to resources and further support.
After attending this session you will
- be able to reflect on how your programme or module could look like by embedding community engaged learning activities into your teaching
- be confident to experiment with different approaches of community engaged learning and with developing community dissertations
- know how to use the support and the resources offered.
