UCL Arena Centre are delivering this session, which is open to all staff at UCL who teach students.
Student-student learning encourages both academic and personal development. In this session you will explore the advantages and challenges of peer learning, including managing group dynamics and preparing students for group work.
This workshop will:
- explore the advantages and challenges of group work and peer to peer learning
- discuss some examples of effective group work,
- present UCL case studies to highlight how you can overcome potential challenges and;
- consider ways to manage group dynamics and prepare students for group work
After attending this session you will
- understand the benefits of group work
- learn how to plan effective group work with your students
- know where to find additional resources and support
