Connected Learning: Moodle training for content developers, interns and PGTAs

The course introduces key ideas and tools to enable you to build or improve Moodle courses according to UCL's Connected Learning framework, UCL’s approach to online teaching and learning.

Moodle course

The course can be accessed via self-enrolment and it can be used as a standalone resource. It provides an introduction to the Connected Learning framework and offers hands-on training on how to build and develop a course on Moodle.

The course also offers a wealth of resources and support for online teaching that users can choose based on their needs.

Other training and resources

We also refer throughout to the UCL Connected Learning Baseline setting out the minimum expectations for the online delivery in Moodle for taught programmes and modules. The Baseline is also supported by a range of resources you can look at later.

We know some participants may already be familiar with Moodle as students, but no prior knowledge or experience is assumed here. If you would like to test your Moodle knowledge in the quizzes you'll need to enrol yourself onto the course (you can un-enrol yourself at any time). To self-enrol follow the appropriate link in the 'Administration' block displayed on this page.

Note the course videos were made for Moodle 3.7 and may not always reflect the current version.
