Safety Services have developed a general risk assessment to support a return to 'on site' working which covers general teaching and research spaces during the COVID-19 pandemic. The assessment is a careful examination of the potential for COVID-19 infection transmission and facilitates a decision about whether there are enough risk control measures in place.
You should customise the risk assessment and create a version for the teaching spaces you manage. If you already have risk assessments in place, you can verify the suitability of your controls against this institutional standard.
The risk assessment is available via riskNET, UCL's safety management database, for each department to adapt to their requirements.
