Grand Challenges Coordinator Vacancy at UCL Global Health

The UCL Office of the Vice-Provost for Research has a vacancy for a full-time Grade 8 Post in the department of Grand Challenges

Salary (inclusive of London allowance)

£41,844 - £49,362 per annum

Duties and Responsibilities

The post holder will work closely with the Principal Facilitator for Grand Challenges, the GCGH Chair and Executive Committee, the Vice-Provost (Research), the Director of Research Planning, the OVPR Director of Research Impact and Communications, and other colleagues within the Office of the Vice-Provost (Research), Institute for Global Health, and academics whose interests are within the broad areas of GCGH.

This full-time position is funded for 12 months in the first instance, however, working on a part time basis can be considered for a minimum of 29.2 hours per week (0.8FTE). Salary is pro-rata for part time vacancies.

Key Requirements

Applicants will have well-developed negotiation and facilitation skills which will enable them to build excellent working relationships at all levels within and outside the university, and be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, together with the ability to research, draft and present reports on complex issues to a broad audience. The successful candidate will possess strong organisational skills that will enable successful delivery of results to demanding timescales.
