Davide Rasella is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Epidemiology and Wellcome Trust Fellow at the Fiocruz Institute in Brazil and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in UK. Dr Rasella is currently leading various impact evaluations of poverty-reduction policies in Brazil. He is consultant of the World Health Organization (WHO) on the monitoring of social determinants of health in Brazil and for the the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) on the impact evaluation of social policies interventions in Brazil using microsimulation methodologies. Prior to his academic career, Dr Rasella has worked in several African countries as epidemiologist and nutritionist in humanitarian emergencies.
