In this workshop you will consider what you can do as individual, and as a member of a community, to better prepare for and cope with extreme weather events and the impacts of climate change.  You will work with other participants in small groups to come up with tips and strategies that will help you be more resilient and understand how you can keep yourself and those you are close to safe in heatwaves, floods and storms.

The workshop will be led by Marisa Goulden and draw on material produced by the British Red Cross, the UK Met Office and other sources. This is one of a series of events hosted by the Climate Anxiety Working Group for PALS/ION
