Green careers in the Arts

Want to learn more about green careers in the Arts Sector? Interested in developing your networking skills? Keen to meet like-minded individuals and build on your professional network? If you’ve answered yes to any of the above, then come along to this fun, interactive, speed networking event where you will have the opportunity to network with industry experts working in various roles across a range of organisations, along with other students who share similar career interests.

During this event, you will speak with our visiting speakers - all UCL alumni - to gain invaluable insight into careers that marry sustainability and the arts, and to pick up tips and strategies on how to build on your career readiness. You will also hear from a member of the Education Task Force for the UCL Students' Union Sustainability Council (SusCo), about their initiatives, and the importance of considering sustainability in your career choices.

Event Schedule

  • 5:50-6pm – Student arrival and registration

  • 6-6:20pm – Welcome and brief introductions from our visiting speakers

  • 6:20-7:05pm – Speed networking carousel begins: networking with individual alumni at tables in groups (10mins apx per table)

  • 7:05-7:30pm – Informal open networking with all alumni and other student participants

  • 7:30pm – Event ends

Please arrive for registration by 5:50pm at the latest, so that we can begin the event promptly at 6pm. The event will take place on UCL East's campus, room 512 in the Marshgate Building.
