UCL x Incador E-Waste Challenge

Got a drawer full of old tech? The UCL x Incador E-Waste Challenge invites the UCL community to clear out unused electronics, recycle them responsibly on campus, take part in a prize draw and turn your old tech into a chance to win exciting prizes.

UCL has partnered with alumnae Alice Chave and Karen Chave, founders of circular economy start-up Incador, to make it easier for staff and students to recycle unwanted electronics.
As part of this collaboration, two dedicated Incador e-waste bins have been installed across UCL campuses, making it easier for students and staff to recycle unwanted electronics on site.
E-waste bin locations:
- Ramsay Hall
- UCL East Marshgate
How the Challenge Works
As part of the 28 Days of Sustainability, this challenge would be running throughout the month-long period, from 16th February - 16th March
Participants are invited to take part by donating any eligible electronic waste to one of the Incador e-waste bins on campus.
To enter the challenge:
- Donate an item of e-waste at one of the Incador bins any time during 16th Feb- 16th March
- Take a photo of your donation at the bin.
- Post a story of your donation on Instagram, tag @incadorjewellery and @sustainableucl
At the end of the challenge period, a few lucky winners would be selected to receive exciting vouchers.
