Become an IEMA-certified sustainability auditor. UCL and SOS-UK are offering a free, IEMA-certified, environmental auditing in-person training session on 27th and 28th May from 10am-1pm, followed by sustainability audits for UCL’s Green Impact staff engagement programme on the 27th, 28th and 29th May 2025.
Training and auditing will be in-person.
The training will happen in Bidborough House (38-50 Bidborough St, London WC1H 9BT), on the west wing of the ground floor.
We hope to have a maximum of three students per audit, and for every student to audit two teams.
What is Green Impact?
Green Impact is an environmental accreditation programme, designed to encourage, support and celebrate UCL departments in making environmental improvements.
Interested UCL staff and students volunteered to participate in the programme and have completed sustainability actions over the last year. All departments participating in Green Impact will need an audit to verify their level of achievement, Bronze, Silver or Gold…and this is where you come in!
Although the term 'auditing' may initially sound daunting, it serves as a valuable opportunity for Green Impact teams to showcase the remarkable progress and initiatives they've undertaken throughout the year. It also provides an enriching learning experience for students, allowing them to gain insight into sustainability practices at the university.
