About the Speaker
Jiayi Wang
Jiayi Wang is a second-year PhD candidate at the Department of Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment, IOE, researching ocean literacy. Building on her master's in Educational Leadership at IOE in 2021-22, she explores how secondary students, teachers, school leaders, and parents perceive ocean literacy and how it can be integrated into education. Her research aims to bridge gaps in understanding and promote greater engagement with ocean sustainability.
