UCL Sustainability Awards Ceremony 2025

Another fantastic year! Our network of Green Champions keeps on growing and sustainability is at the forefront of much of what UCL says and does. We've achieved some incredible milestones since last year, including retaining our 1st Class Honours in the People and Planet University League and achieving 1st place in the UK in the QS Sustainability Rankings.

Join us as we celebrate the individuals and teams across UCL who are driving positive environmental change. The ceremony will honour the winners of this year’s Green Impact, LEAF, and Special Sustainability Awards, showcasing a wide range of achievements—from innovative sustainability initiatives to long-term dedication and everyday climate action.

We’re also excited to announce the launch of UCL’s new Sustainability Plan (2025–2035), which sets out our vision, goals, and actions for the years ahead. This exclusive event will offer attendees a first look at the new UCL Sustainability Plan.

• Beatrice Anomah, Inclusion & Climate Justice Project Manager, Student’s Organising for Sustainability UK

Beatrice is a passionate and dedicated advocate for climate justice, inclusion and sustainability.

Nominations for special awards - now closed 

Nominations for our five categories of Special Sustainability Awards are now closed. These are in addition to the Green Impact and LEAF awards which are given to Green Champions for completing the programmes. Winners will be announced at the Ceremony and publicised after the event.
